Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met party MPs from Madhya Pradesh and asked them to be proactive in raising public issues in national interest and take the bold initiatives of the government before the public.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is also an MP from Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Prakash Javadekar, who is a Rajya Sabha member from the state were also present during the meeting.

During the interaction with them at his residence, Modi guided them on their role in making the party active and work in national interest. The meeting was part of the series on meeting party MPs from different states.

Prime Minister Modi had earlier met Bharatiya Janata Party MPs from Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir and interacted with them over breakfast.
