Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to travel to Indonesia and Singapore from May 29 to June 2 on official visit, confirmed the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

During this visit, the Prime Minister will deliver the key note address at Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore in Singapore on June 1, said MEA Secretary (East) Preeti Saran.

Prime Minister Modi will also hold bilateral talks with leaders of the two nations on key issues, which is inclusive of the defence sector.

Whist this will be the Prime Minister's first official visit to Indonesia, it will his second official visit to Singapore.

The Prime Minister's visit comes barely days after his one-day informal summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Russia's Sochi on May 21.
