PM Modi pays tribute to Gopal Krishna Gokhale on his birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who paid tributes to Gopal Krishna Gokhale on his birth anniversary today, said that the latter was a remarkable freedom fighter and social reformer."Gopal Krishna Gokhale was a great personality; a remarkable freedom fighter and social reformer. Tributes to him on his birth anniversary," he said.
Gokhale, who was a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and founder of the Servants of India Society, is described as one of the founding leaders of India's independence movement.
