Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held a virtual interaction with Henrik Anderson, president and CEO of Vestas and discussed a host of issues with him related to the wind energy sector.

The PM highlighted India's efforts to harness renewable energy in order to build a cleaner future for the coming generations.

Terming the interaction as insightful, Andersen said that Vestas is looking forward to a continued collaboration and increased footprint in India.

Vestas designs, manufactures, installs and services wind turbines across the world and is among the biggest wind turbine companies.
