Pfizer offers COVID-19 vaccine to India at 'not-for-profit' price

New Delhi: American drug maker Pfizer has said that it has offered the government of India its vaccine for vaccination program at a 'not-for-profit' price. The company has said that it is committed to working with the government to ensure the availability of the vaccine across the country.

The company also said that it would supply the Pfizer-bayonet COVID-19 mRNA vaccine only through a government contract.

A Pfizer spokesperson said that the company is fully committed to continuing working with the government by providing Pfizer and bioentech vaccines for use in the government's vaccination program in the country.

The company will give vaccine only to the government

A statement from the company said that Pfizer will give full support to the government in its vaccination program, as stated earlier. The company will provide the COVID-19 vaccine only through government contracts.
