Petitions filed in SC against order of Goa assembly speaker
Petitions have been moved in the Supreme Court against the order of the Goa assembly speaker restraining two MLAs MGGP from voting in the House.
NEW DELHI: Petitions have been moved in the Supreme Court against the order of the Goa assembly speaker restraining two MLAs of Maharashtra Goa Gomantak party (MGGP) from voting in the House in the recently conducted floor test.
The petitions have sought a stay on the Speaker's order and a directions for holding a fresh floor test. The petitions have been filed by the members of BJP and MGGP.
