Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Tariq Anwar on Monday said the people have lot of expectations from the Union Budget and are hoping that it brings 'acche din' for them as promised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the Lok Sabha elections last year."Even we are hoping that it will be a better one, last time Arun Jaitleyji and the Prime Minister had said that they did not get enough time to prepare the budget," Anwar told ANI here. "Now, they have nine months of experience. The people have lot of expectations from the budget. Now, the middle class, the lower class, social sector are hoping that the budget will bring 'acche din' for them as promised by the government," he added. The budget session of Parliament will be beginning today after President Pranab Mukherjee's joint address to both the houses of Parliament.The budget session contains 44 items of financial, legislative and non-legislative business. The first part of the budget session will continue till March 20 while the second part will commence after a month-long break from April 20 and conclude on May 8. The Rail Budget will be presented on February 26, Economic Survey on February 27 and General Budget on February 28.
