Bihar government will reward up to Rs 50,000 to people who would help unearth corruption in the state, Deputy Chief Minister S K Modi said today."The government has decided to reward upto Rs 50,000 to those who will help trap public servants while taking bribe or highlight authentic cases of embezzlement of fund," Modi told reporters here."We have also made provisions for rewarding public prosecutors and investigation officers for successful handling of cases related to confiscation of property of corrupt people," he said."The state government has resolved to confiscate the property of corrupt purblic servants to open much needed schools," he said.Altogether 87 DA cases have so far been registered by the vigilance bureau since 2008, Modi said adding that the vigilance officials had trapped 520 people while taking bribe during the period.
