Pareeksha pe Charcha: PM Modi to interact with students on beating exam stress at Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium

After launching his book 'Exam Warriors', where he talks about beating exam-related stress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now holding 'Pareeksha pe Charcha' to interact live with school, college-going students.

The PM will be meeting students in Delhi's Talkatora stadium at 11 am on February 16, and those not present at the venue will attend through virtual mediums of radio and television. Letters have been sent to all institutions to make necessary arrangements for the live telecast.

At Talkatora, he will be interacting with around 2,500 students, where he will take live questions. Questions sent online by students will also be included in the session.

The idea is to address students ahead of the board exams for Class 10 and 12. Students from Class 6 and above have been encouraged to listen to the address.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also asked all schools to make necessary arrangements for the programme to be made available for students through TV or radio on February 16. Students can also ask questions to the PM.

As per the circular sent by CBSE, questions that students ask have to be specifically about ways to beat exam stress. They can submit their questions on MyGov website, like the questions for 'Mann ki Baat' are taken.

"Students of Classes 6 onwards will be allowed to listen to or watch the programme in schools. It will be aired through All India Radio channels, DD National and streamed live on the YouTube channel of MHRD," a CBSE circular sent in this regard on Thursday read.

It added that only students from Class 9 and above will be allowed to ask questions from the PM, which he will answer during his session.

In his book 'Exam Warriors', launched on February 3, PM has offered 25 'mantras', including Yoga asanas, to help students face examinations without stress. In the book, the PM has urged students to see exams as a way "to compete with self".
