Result Update: BJP's PP Choudhary defeated Congress' Badri Ram Jakhar by landslide margin of 481597 votes. 

Pali Lok Sabha Election Results 2019: Parliamentary constituency Pali went to polls on April 29 in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha election. BJP's PP Choudhary and Congress' Badri Ram Jakhar were the key candidates in the fray in 2019 in Pali. In the 4th phase, a total of 71 seats across 8 states witnessed Lok Sabha election 2019.

Pali Lok Sabha constituency profile

Pali Lok Sabha constituency consists of eight assembly segments which are Sojat (SC), Pali, Marwar Junction, Bali, Sumerpur, Osian, Bhopalgarh (SC), Bilara (SC). 

BJP fielded its sitting MP PP Choudhary who made big claims of work done by him in his 5-year tenure. He had also served as Union Minister of State. 

The incumbent MP was confident of his victory in 2019. Speaking about work done by him he had said that under his leadership more than 50,000 solar lights were installed in 444 Gram Panchayats. 

He also worked to ensure 2 lakh women to get them Pradhan Mantri  Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) from his salary.

Riding on Modi wave in 2014, he defeated Munni Devi Godara of the Congress by over 4 lakh votes. 

The Congress party fielded its 2009 winning candidate Badri Ram Jakhar against BJP's PP Choudhary.

Rajasthan has a total of 25 parliamentary seats which went to polls in two phases.

Rajasthan is one of the key states in the Hindi-belt both the national parties — BJP and Congress — gave a tough competition to each other. Rajasthan has a total of 4,84,79,229 voters.

BJP's alliance in Rajasthan 

The BJP contested polls in alliance with Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Led by Jat leader Hanuman Beniwal, RLP won Khinvsar, Merta and Bhopalgarh seats in 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections.

Hanuman Beniwal was a former BJP leader who was ousted from the party after his differences with former chief minister Vasundhara Raje. However, after the 2018 assembly election results, which led the BJP to lose the state to Congress, it aligned with the RLP. 

Congress' alliance in Rajasthan

Congress contested all 25 seats in the forthcoming election. However, in assembly election 2018, it allied with Rashtriya Lok Dal led by Ajit Singh, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Sharad Yadav’s Loktantrik Janata Dal. 

Lok Sabha election 2019 were held in 7-phases.
