"A Pakistani prisoner Shakar Ullah has allegedly been murdered in Jaipur central jail. Ullah was lodged here since 2011 who died after a brawl with other inmates," said Rupinder Singh, IG Jaipur Jail.

A Pakistani prisoner Shakar Ullah lodged in the central jail in Jaipur was allegedly murdered following a quarrel with other prisoners, officials said on Wednesday. Senior administrative and police officials have rushed to the jail after learning about the incident.
"A Pakistani prisoner Shakar Ullah has allegedly been murdered in the central jail. Ullah was lodged here since 2011 who died after a brawl with other inmates," Rupinder Singh, IG Jaipur Jail said. More details are awaited.

Speaking on the matter further, Additional Commissioner of Jaipur Central jail, Laxman Gaur said, "Pakistani prisoner Shakul Ullah lodged in Jaipur Central jail under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act was killed by some people at around 1 pm today. The incident occurred over a dispute over volume of the television. Further investigation is underway."
