District authorities of Jaisalmer and Badmer have heightened security vigil after the military intelligence warned that Pakistan may attempt to poison the water bodies situated at the Indo-Pak border near Rajasthan.

Water Supply department official Nemaram Parihar said, "The security officials are alert and are looking for any such activities. As far as water supply at homes are concerned, the public is also alert," IBN Live reported.

The reports have come before the meeting of Pakistan Rangers and  Border Security Force (BSF) scheduled on Wednesday. Repeated ceasefire violations is said to be one of the main issues which will be discussed in the meeting.
