"Our system is hack-proof. Hackers have tried to gain access to the GPS server of PCRs but have not succeeded," the officer said.

Before January 26, hackers had tried to break into the system, but the attempt was foiled and the website was shut down as a precautionary measure and was later restored, the officer said.

A special investigative team had been formed to identify the hackers who were traced in Russia and Germany. The security system was then bolstered.
