They also complained of facing a lot of problems in executing their daily activities and said that they are not receiving any kind of help from the government.

A local resident told ANI, "Firing was previously also going on. But today it was a very difficult day. We somehow saved our lives. The whole family is facing troubles, can't go out to get even grass. We cannot go out till our farms to work and moreover nobody is bothered about our situation here. We live in the fear that anytime our house may collapse."

"We are living a very tough life. No minister comes here to even take a single look on how we are living. We cannot earn our livelihood as we are not able to go in farms for work", he added.

Another local resident told ANI, "The firing starts daily after 4 pm. Farmers who are living on the border are facing a lot of problem. They have to stay inside their houses and cannot step outside."

Regarding the government's help, the disappointed man added, "Talks are going on by the government but nothing has come up till now that can assure the people living here on the border that they are safe."

There has been a series of ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops in the past two months.
