An oil tanker today caught fire at a petrol pump outlet near the walled city here, officials said.
     However, there was no casualty in the incident, IGP Jaipur BL Soni said.
     Fire tenders and employees of the station diverted the nozzles of the tanker, thereby averting a major tragedy.
     After the fire that broke out while filing a tank at the HP Petro outlet, residents up to 200 metres were asked to vacate the houses and shops.
     The outlet was partially damaged, he said, adding the traffic has been diverted. The fire was doused but black smoke was still billowing out of the tanker.
      Police said the tanker driver and attendant escaped from the site.
      HP authorities have been called to supervise the post-fire measures, they added.
