So far, around 12 educational institutions in the US and more in Singapore and Malaysia are utilising the services of EduMetry. Roosevelt University College of Business Administration and the University of Northern Iowa College of Business Administration are among its clients.

“We work in close conjunction with faculty members. Everyone talks about the duty of faculty members as teachers and evaluaters. But most are interested in research, which gets them more recognition. Even teaching assistants can’t spend as much time as we do on grading and assessing papers,” says Ravindra Singh Bangari, vice-president, EduMetry.

The firm is not keen to reveal its staff strength in Bangalore or in the US, but has employed primarily professionals with a Master’s degree from various streams.

According to Bangari, most of the assessors are working on a part-time basis, including well-educated housewives.
