Zee News has turned 26 years old and since the very beginning, we have been interviewing newsmakers. However, there are some interviews that never get old and this is one of them. This is a 20-year-old interview of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was the then chief minister of Gujarat, with Zee News Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary.

When asked about what is different about being a spokesperson of a party, interacting with the media on a daily basis, and becoming the chief minister of a state, PM Modi had said that it is vastly different. He said that while he was a spokesperson based out of Delhi, he would interact with mediapersons every day and the way a spokesperson works is very different.

He was quick to add that he has learnt a lot in Delhi, from the party seniors he interacted with in the national capital. He also said that he understood the power and position of the media world and he believes that all these things have influenced him greatly and he hopes these will play a positive role in his life.

He also says that after becoming the chief minister, he misses the media, the people of the country because through the media, he would get a chance to interact with the people as well.
