Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh on Sunday ruled out forming a political party now or in the near future. Talking to reporters he said he was not interested in politics since childhood. "There is no thought of starting a political party. I am happy serving the people the way I am doing," he said.When pointed out that he had extended support to BJP in the just concluded polls for Delhi Assembly, he said a section of his of followers has prepared a chart, including to fight against drug mafia, female infanticide and atrocities against women and only BJP MLAs have signed it. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party did not come forward to support it. So the workers decided to support BJP, he claimed.To a question on reports that he extended support to the ruling party allegedly for getting clearance for his controversial movie Messenger of God, he said there was no political interference and a tribunal has ordered its release.Gurmeet, here to promote his film, which is to be released on February 13, said he was also not aware on what reason the members of Censor Board resigned. Stating that he was fighting to make the society free from the evils of drug and assault on women and the film was produced to propagate his ideology, he said his next film MSG 2, which is almost 70 to 80% complete, will touch on corruption.Expressing shock to learn that Tamil Nadu Government itself was selling liquor through outlets, he said he would pray to the government to stop making revenue by selling liquors.
