No-frisking VVIP list may be slashed

While the VVIP culture has almost became a part of Indian society, aviation ministry seems to have made a start to get a clean break from it.
If the aviation ministry proposal is approved by the government, Union ministers of state, former vice-presidents, and the cabinet secretary may soon have to queue up at airports and get frisked.
According to reports, the proposal, which seeks to prune VVIP categories that are exempt from “pre-embarkation security checks at airports, will be an attempt to curb India's VIP culture.
