JD (U) chief Nitish Kumar will be sworn in as 34th chief minister of Bihar tomorrow.

The swearing-in ceremony of Kumar will take place at the historic Gandhi Maidan at 2.30pm, official sources said here today.

Governor Devanand Konwar would administer the oath of office and secrecy to Kumar, they said.

Konwar would also administer the oath to other members of the ministry, including Sushil Kumar Modi of BJP, who would be the deputy chief minister.

Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing to spruce up the sprawling Maidan for the function.
