The remark comes a day after Nitish Kumar targeted Modi without naming him during a speech in the assembly.
BJP general secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy Thursday said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was jealous of the rise of his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi and suffering from 'namo-nia'.
"Nitish Kumar should consult a doctor for treatment of namo-nia," Rudy told the media here.
A day after Nitish Kumar targeted Modi without naming him during a speech in the assembly, Rudy said the Janata Dal-United leader was jealous of Modi.
"Nitish Kumar is unable to tolerate the rise of Modi and his popularity across the country," Rudy said.
On Sunday, the JD-U ended its 17-year-long alliance with the BJP while JD-U leader Sharad Yadav resigned as convenor of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.
