Chief minister Nitish Kumar today decried change in syllabus making English essential in the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) (Prelims) by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) saying it would cause "an injustice" to the aspirants from rural areas.      "I decry the change in the UPSC's CSAT (prelims) syllabus making English an essential subject. It will cause an injustice to the aspirants from the rural areas," Kumar told reporters on the sidelines of his favourite Janata Darbar programme here.     He said he had received a letter from a candidate from the centre. "I studied the letter and I felt that it is not justified," Kumar said adding he had already written a letter to the centre about it.     "The system of making English as essential subject be changed. It will be an injustice for the candidates from rural areas in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh," he said.     The UPSC has recently made drastic change in the preliminary examination system for 2011 and introduced CSAT system in which English is incorporated as an one of essential subjects.     Referring to the alleged leak in AIEEE question papers exams which were held yesterday, Kumar said the state police would render all possible help in taking action against all those involved in the question leak.      "Our policemen will extend full cooperation to the team probing the alleged leak case," he said adding the state police would also provide its expertise to those dealing with the case.    Uttar Pradesh Police had yesterday revealed that prima facie, there seems to be links of organised gangs in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in the question papers leak case.
