A 25-year-old newly-wed woman was allegedly tortured and beaten to death by her husband and in-laws over dowry in the Kamuruddin Nagar village here, police said on Friday.Afsana was killed yesterday by her husband Zahid and in-laws, who beat her with sticks and later strangulated her, they said.A case has been lodged by victim's father, Zameer Ahmad, who alleged that his daughter was killed as he failed to meet dowry demand of Rs1lakh.
