The victim has been identified as Benjamin Scolt. He has been admitted to a hospital.

Jatin Narwal, DCP North said, " The incident happened on Friday at around 10:30 near Yamuna Khadar towards Geeta Colony. The victim took a cycle rickshaw for ISBT. But the rickshaw puller took him to a deserted area and stabbed him. We had a police picket 700 meters away from the spot. Locals informed us of a commotion and our team rushed to the spot, but because of the dark we couldn't apprehend the culprit. The robbers stabbed him six times and stole his mobile phone and Indian currency. The victim had come to India on 12 March on a tourist visa. We have some clues and are working on it."

Both the suspects have been identified and cops are trying to nab them.

Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that she has asked for a report on the attack. "I have asked Delhi Government to provide him best medical treatment."
