Chief minister Narendra Modi will be meeting BJP leaders on Tuesday to discuss and decide the future course of action after a huge victory in the municipal corporations, municipalities, district panchayat and taluka panchayat elections. There will be two meetings on October 26.

The first will be held at 3 pm and another will be at 6 pm in the evening.

Veteran BJP leader and MP from Gandhinagar LK Advani, BJP's national vice-president Purushottam Rupala and BJP state president RC Faldu will be attending the meetings. A press release issued by BJP's state spokesperson IK Jadeja on Monday said that at a meeting of BJP's office bearers and district election in-charge leaders will be held at 3 pm under the chairmanship of state BJP president RC Faldu.

Sources in the BJP said that the afternoon meeting will be held to analyse the recent victory in the elections and to discuss the selection of heads of district and taluka panchayats and municipalities.

Names and selection process for the heads of different committees in all these bodies will also be discussed. BJP MLAs and MPs are also invited for the evening meeting.
