His body will be brought to Ahmedabad on Thursday.

"Nanavati breathed his last at Kailash Mansarovar on Tuesday morning," said KJ Shethna, senior counsel of the Gujarat high court with whom Nanavati had started his legal career. The lawyer, his wife Ruby and another lawyer, Sanjay Mehta, had left Ahmedabad for the pilgrimage four days back. On reaching Mansarovar, Nanavati complained of breathlessness. He then had a massive heart attack after which he died.
