Muzaffarnagar: RSS leader dies of shock after son's arrest in theft case
RSS leader Chetan Prakash died due to the shock over son Abheykand Sharma's arrest.
An RSS leader died of heart attack after his son was arrested in a theft case at Khatoli town in Muzaffarnagar, police said on Sunday .
A police team led by Sub Inspector Ajay Kumar arrested Abheykand Sharma from his house on Saturday for the latter's alleged role in a theft case, SHO K P Singh said.
Abheykhand's father Chetan Prakash died later due to the shock over his son's arrest, he said.
Meanwhile, SI Ajay Kumar, was suspended over allegedly misbehaving with the accused's father.
A group of Hindu activists also staged a protest against the incident.
