A fire broke out in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) building in suburban Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) today. There was no immediate report of any causalty, fire brigade sources said.

The blaze erupted on the eighth floor of building no. C-9 at around 8.30 AM, they said. Eight fire engines and six tankers have rushed to the spot.

Fire officer Ashish Chougule was injured while extinguishing the fire. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, sources added.
