A student of a Mumbai engineering college has been offered a job at Google's London office for a whooping package of Rs 1.2 crore. Abdullah Khan, who failed to crack IIT exam, but has grabbed an opportunity that he must proud of.

Abdullah Khan was interviewed by Google after the company acknowledged his profile on a website which hosts competitive programming challenges. Abdullah Khan was called to appear before Google's London office for the final screening round after he completed earlier online rounds successfully.

Speaking to an English daily, Abdullah Khan said that he was looking forward to joining Google team. Mentioning about the offer, the techie shared that he wasn't expecting such an offer and wasn't even aware that companies keep a tap on profiles on such sites which organise competitions. 

Abdullah Khan, who is in the final year of his BE (Computer Science) programme at LR Tiwari Engineering College in Mumbai, will join his services at Google's site reliability engineering in September this year. Khan had done his schooling from Saudi Arabia and opted Mumbai for higher studies.

As per reports, Google is looking for similar aspirants for its services across Europe.
