Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's younger daughter-in-law, Aparna Yadav today staged a protest against BBC for telecasting the controversial documentary on Delhi gangrape victim despite ban by Indian government.

Aparna, wife of Mulayam's younger son Prateek Yadav, staged a protest under the aegis of 'Harsh', a social organisation, along with other women activists at 1090 Crossing, holding placards reading 'Sharm Karo BBC' (have shame BBC) and also burnt effigy of BBC.
Speaking on the occasion, Aparna who is the brand ambassador of 'Harsh' said that it not only proved the insensitivity of BBC but also the scant regard it has for Indian Parliament and government, which will not be tolerated at any cost.
The facts presented in the documentary in the name of research are misleading and present a wrong image of the country, she added.
