NASIK: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths caught an assistant engineer of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) red-handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000, ACB sources said on Wednesday.
    
Acting on a complaint, ACB laid a trap and while assistant engineer V P Jogi was accepting the bribe at Chopda in Jalgaon district yesterdat for commissioning a new electric distribution point, he was nabbed.
    
Meanwhile, a RTO officer was also arrested for taking Rs 1,000 as bribe from a complainant for allowing entry of his truck at RTO's Hadakhed check post in Dhule district on
October 8.
    
The truck was carrying a JCB machine from Madhya Pradesh to Karnataka via Hadakhed's state border check post, sources said.
