The Congress in Madhya Pradesh would work hard to ensure the party's victory in elections to 52 local bodies spread over 16 districts in the next two months, a senior leader said today.Addressing a press conference here, Congress General Secretary in-charge of Madhya Pradesh B K Hariprasad said issues related to the upcoming polls were discussed at a meeting of the co-ordination committee of the party's state unit.He said the meeting had been called at a very short notice because of which many members of the committee could not attend it.Hariprasad slammed the State's BJP Government and accused it of failure on various fronts.Things under the BJP rule were going from bad to worse. A number of rape cases had been reported in the State in the recent past, the Congress leader added.
