Mothers campaigning for sons in Delhi assembly election

Coming to rescue for the sons who are set to contest upcoming assembly elections in capital, the mothers of the candidates also have pulled up socks to woo voters by jumping into the full fledged campaign. Starting from BJP leader Pravesh Verma's mother to Tasveer Solanki's mother, in a bid to occupy the constituency, the candidates' mother are giving full hand support to their sons who are trying their luck this poll.
 
Mothers are helping their sons to win the ongoing electoral battle with a group of dedicated family members who form the first line of preparation. Mothers are involved in every aspect of the campaign process, they are not only working behind the scenes but have taken enormous control over where and how the campaign is fought. Savitri Devi, mother of Congress candidate from Dwarka Tasveer Solanki, told the dna that every mothers always come forward to helps her child whenever they required throughout life and she is doing the same. “My son is fighting a battle and it’s my duty to help him to win the battle. I am doing door to door campaign and helping him in managing all the campaign affairs,” she said.
 
Savitri Devi is not alone in the family helping her son in campaigning and other poll affairs.  Along her, Solanki’s wife Vimmy and sister Kausalya are also helping in campaigning. “ Along with family members, Tasveer’s maternal and paternal uncles and aunties are also campaigning in the election,” Savitri Devi added.
 
Shahid Kaur, wife of former Delhi chief minister, late Sahib Singh Verma and mother of BJP candidate from Mehrauli Pravesh Verma, not only campaigning to garner support for her son but campaigning her brother-in-law and other. “I am campaigning for Pravesh and his Uncle Azad Singh and party candidate from Nagloi. My presence not only help them in reach out more people through but also give moral support,” Kaur said.  Deepti, Pravesh’s wife, also helping her mother-in-law in the election campaigning.
 
Mothers not only asking voter to use their franchise in favour of their but also with other families member help manage campaigns, finalise the entire, and monitoring daily routines in terms of food and drinks very closely. “Apart from helping in his poll strategy, I am also take care of his daily routine like any mother and ensure that he gets proper meal on time,” Kaur added.
