Mother, daughter commit suicide in Uttar Pradesh

A young woman allegedly committed suicide alongwith her daughter in Makrandipur area over some family discord, police said today.    Following a tiff with her husband, the woman set herself and her daughter ablaze yesterday, they said.    The husband was not present in the house at the time of incident, they said, adding that the bodies have been sent for post mortem.
