With Nepal being hit by fresh earthquake, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday spoke to his counterpart Sushil Koirala and assured him of all possible cooperation from India.

The Prime Minister has spoken to Prime Minister of Nepal on the situation arising due to yesterday's tremors, a PMO statement said.

"PM Sushil Koirala and I had a telephonic conversation. We reviewed the situation arising due to yesterday's tremors...I assured PM Koirala of all possible co-operation from our side in the wake of the earthquake," Modi tweeted.

65 people were killed and nearly 2000 injured on Tuesday when an earthquake of 7.3 magnitude hit Nepal again about three weeks after the devastating quake.
