An angry mob set a police vehicle on fire and injured two policemen in outer Delhi when they intervened in a fight between two groups, police said today.

The mob also set on fire the police control room vehicle. Two policemen sustained injuries in the attack while as many escaped unhurt, he said.
The attackers fled from the scene before another police team could reach the spot, he said, adding that they have identified some of the attackers.
A case of rioting, damaging public property and preventing a public servant from discharging his duty has been registered against the attackers, police said.
