The State Bank of India (SBI) Howrah station branch staff after opening the bank today found that the iron grill of the bank was broken and money missing from the branch, the police said.

They immediately informed the police.

The police suspect that the miscreants had entered the branch by breaking the iron grill on Sunday when the bank was closed.
