A minor girl was allegedly raped by her school teacher in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, police said today.

The teacher has been arrested and sent to judicial custody for 14 days following a complaint by the victim's guardians, they said.
The accused identified as Anusuya Prasad Tiwari sexually exploited the class four student over a period of time, police said adding the accused has been booked under several sections of the IPC and POSCA Act.
