Minor school girl attacked by man who tries to rape her

A 25-year old man allegedly tried to rape a minor girl when she was returning home from a nearby school in the district, police said today.

The 5-year old girl was lured by the accused identified as Jagdish who took her to an isolated place and tried to rape her yesterday.

He left the girl when she raised an alarm, police said.

Her father lodged an FIR against the accused last night against Jagdish who is absconding, they said.
