Amid anger over Kathua and Unnao incidents, a minor girl was gang-raped in Patna city of Bihar on Saturday.

The incident took place in Mithapur vegetable market, just 500 meters away from Kotwali police station area, reported Zee Media Bureau.

The police have arrested two men while committing the crime, while two others are still absconding.

The victim who has been rushed to the hospital for further treatment said that she was on her way to catch the train when the four youth who were already in the area came from behind, tore her clothes and raped her.

Kotwali DCP Shivli Nomani said that the victim is a resident of Fatua and her family members have been informed. Two accused have been arrested and efforts are on to nab remaining two.

The accused are residents of Patna and Budh Marg, and those arrested have confessed to committing the crime.
