Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, one of the major alliance partners in the BJP-led government in Goa, has emphasised that the party will work in all constituencies including those held by the BJP currently.

It has also decided to support Rajya Sabha candidate selected by the BJP.

"We will support Vinay Tendulkar. However, many of our central committee members feel that we should contest Lok Sabha independently," Deepak Dhavalikar, party President, said adding that, "We are in this government to provide a stable government. That doesn't mean we will stop growing. We will work in talukas like Bicholim which are held by the BJP now."

MGP's central committee held its meeting on Saturday in Panaji to introspect about its poll debacle and future course of action.
