Mayawati betrayed mentor Kanshi Ram, says his brother

Dalbara Singh, younger brother of late Kanshi Ram, today accused BSP chief Mayawati of betraying her mentor and party founder late Kanshi Ram by abandoning his ideals."Mayawati has forgotten the ideals of BR Ambedakar and Kanshi Ram. All those leaders who contributed in the formation of the party have been neglected by the party chief," he told reporters here.Singh, president of Bahujan Sangarsh Party, said the political outfit was floated in 2009 to unite all those in BSP who were "neglected and humiliated" by Mayawati.He said the party has been allotted 'road-roller' as its symbol and would contest elections in states like Bihar and West Bengal in the run up to the key assembly polls in UP.
