Around 150 of them were charged in the case, out of which eleven are still in jail while others are out on bail. These workers were charged with rioting with weapons, murder, attempt to murder, unlawful assembly, assault, and trespass, among others.

Though 31 have been held culpable, the court will announce quantum of sentence on March 17.

The violence broke out at the Maruti Manesar plant four years ago where agitating workers went on a rampage and attacked officials and torching the office. A senior HR executive Avnish Dev was killed and nearly 100 were injured, which included nine policemen too.
