Two persons were killed by Maoists on the suspicion of being police informers in separate incidents in West Midnapore district, police said.Soyen Pal, a former CPI(M) member, was dragged out by a group of 10-12 men from his house at Neguria village under Belpahari police station last night, the police said.Pal's bullet-riddled body was found lying on the village road today, the police said.The police said that Pal had been receiving threats from the Maoists for quite some time.A camp of the Special Operation Group, which is carrying out anti-Maoist operations, is stationed at the village.In a similar incident, CPI(M) member Sitaram Mandi was forcibly taken out of his house at Bandhgora village under Salboni police station last night.His bullet-riddled body was recovered today.
