Maoist leader held with Rs18 lakh in Bihar
Besides the money, some Naxal literature was recovered during the operation.
A Maoist was arrested from the Kankarbagh area here, and Rs18 lakh recovered from him, police said today.
Special Task Force of Bihar police, assisted by Patna police, carried out a raid, and captured Dwivendu Kumar Singh alias Subodh alias Anand, member of the Special Area Committee of the proscribed CPI(Maoist) last night, deputy superintendent of police (STF) PK Sinha said today.
Besides the money, some Naxal literature was recovered during the operation, Sinha said.
The ultra is being interrogated.
