Man attempts suicide at Delhi Metro's Dwarka Mor station

He has been admitted to MR Hospital at Dwarka where he is undergoing treatment.

A 32-year-old man allegedly attempted suicide by jumping in front of a train in Dwarka Mor metro station on Tuesday night, police said.

At around 9:05 pm, a call was received by the Police Control Room (PCR) about a man who had jumped in front of the metro and had sustained injuries. The man was identified as Sandeep and said to be around 32-33 years old. He is a resident of Najafgarh in the capital. 

He has been admitted to MR Hospital at Dwarka where he is undergoing treatment. 

His parents have been informed, police said. 

Earlier in August, a similar incident took place at Dwarka Mor metro station. Following the incident, there was a brief delay in services on a section of the Delhi Metro's Blue Line.

The busy Blue Line connects Electronic City in Noida and Janakpuri West in Delhi.
