Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and TMC MP Abhishek meets with road accident, suffers head injuries
He has been rushed to the hospital.
Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha MP Abhishek Banerjee met with an accident while returning to Kolkata from Berhampur on Tuesday.
Banerjee’s vehicle suffered a head-on collision with a truck and overturned near Singur on the Durgapur Expressway.
Abhishek has reportedly suffered head injuries and has been taken to the Belle Vue Clinics in Kolkata. Other senior leaders of the Trinamool Congress have also rushed to the hospital.
West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee is also likely to visit him.
