Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi in BJP’s latest list of 3

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday announced the names of three more candidates – two for Gujarat and one for Kerala – for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

For Mahesana Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat, the party has dropped sitting MP Jayshreeben Patel and nominated Sharda Ben Patel instead. For Surat Lok Sabha seat, the BJP has repeated sitting MP Darshana Jardosh.

In Thrissur Lok Sabha seat in Kerala, the BJP has fielded popular Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi. Actor is currently a Rajya Sabha MP.

With this, the BJP has announced the names of 377 candidates. The party has announced candidates for all the Lok Sabha seats which will go to polls in the first four phases of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections.
