Main accused in Kothamangalam rape case arrested
14-year-old girl, who is now pregnant, told the police besides her father, she was sexually abused by many others.
The main accused in the case relating to a minor girl's rape at Kothamangalam in Ernakulam district was arrested on Monday.Bekkar (27), against whom a lookout notice had been issued on Sunday, was arrested from Neriyamangalm in Idukki district.Two former classmates of the 14-year-old girl, who is pregnant, have also been taken into custody, police said.The girl told the police that besides her father, many others had sexually abused her for over a year.So far 13 persons have been arrested in connection with the case.
