According to sources, the AKVN staff had found extra land in possession of the company during first measurement of land but the company had declined to agree to the outcome. Following this, the AKVN had formed a committee comprising officials from two independent agencies-- AKVN and the company.
The measurement afresh also had affirmed the earlier outcome, said an official from the corporation. The land plot of the Mahindra's manufacturing unit is based in Pithampur sector I.
